The first half of 2018 has seen Brighton based five piece Island Club come forward and cement their position as certifiable ones to watch. After giving us a taste of their infectiously energetic style through singles ‘Sober’, ‘Submarine’ and ‘Talk It Out’, the indie-pop quintet have picked up tastemaker support from the likes of Clash Magazine, Coup De Main and Spotify’s ‘New Music Friday’.
The beautifully melodic ‘In My Head’ is the final piece of the puzzle for the self-titled debut EP. Released on July 13th through LAB Records (Stereo Honey, Vistas, Marsicans), the band’s debut body of work features the kind of glossy indie tunes that Island Club are fast becoming known for, truly underlining the sheer potential that the guys posses.

Having racked up 3 million streams on Spotify with upbeat synth-pop bangers ‘Let Go’, ’Paper Kiss’ and ‘Irresistible’, comparisons are already being made to the likes if indie mainstays Fickle Friends, Sundara Karma and LANY, and with a freshly announced seven date UK headline tour through September and October with stops in Manchester, London, Bristol and Brighton, Island Club are fast carving a reputation as the band you need to know.
Tickets for the upcoming tour can be found here, and full details can be found below.
