Following the unveiling of the electro-driven Anna of the North Remix of ‘Tokyo’, which The Line of Best Fit described as the ‘perfect marriage of remixer and artist, creating something fresh, new and massively fun’, Dan Croll has announced his Tokyo EP, out 10th November on Communion Records.
The EP features his new single and infectious album closer ‘Tokyo’, as well as new remixes from Australian producer Fractures, Mercury-nominated C Duncan, and composer and arranger Paul Frith (The XX, Radiohead) alongside the already released Anna of the North Remix.
Speaking on the EP, Dan said; “Tokyo is about the need and desire to travel to new places, so having all of these artists from all over come together on one EP is a great feeling. Each have brought their own feel to it, even the artwork brings a whole new feel to the track for me so I’m incredibly excited for people to get stuck in to it.”This week will also see Dan’s now trusty ‘Dial Dan’ hotline reopen on Wednesday, with fans welcome to call, text or WhatsApp Dan directly on 07867 996606 to chat about anything and everything. Past editions have seen Dan play Agony Aunt to a host of his fans concerns, and even a call from Edith Bowman live on her radio show!
2017 has seen Dan release his lauded second full-length ‘Emerging Adulthood’ and embark on a host of tours across the UK, Europe and North America, including an electric date at London’s Heaven and a massive slot at Citadel Festival in July.
