Since writing her first song at the age of 12, self-releasing indie-pop singer Jerry Williams has been grabbing the headlines across major online platforms including WONDERLAND, CLASH, TMRW MAGAZINE and MUSIC WEEK. Playing her first show just a few years later at the age of 17, Jerry has gone on to grace the stage at V Festival, Victorious Festival and has recently been added to The Great Escape’s 2018 line-up, her third appearance at the event as part of the acclaimed First Fifty shortlist. The last 12 months has seen Jerry reach a number of milestones, releasing her
‘Let’s Just Forget About It’ EP whose lead track ‘Mother’, a full-bodied indie-pop hit, amassed an incredible 5M Spotify streams and counting. With a host of live shows confirmed across the UK including a BBC Introducing showcase at The Courtyard Theatre, Hoxton on 22nd November, the 21 year-old is only accelerating into 2018.
Now accompanied by a full acoustic version of the ‘Let’s Just Forget It’ EP, ‘Mother’ returns with a sublimely stripped-back re-imagination, going hand in hand with the original to place Jerry Williams firmly in the ones to watch category for 2018. Remember the name.
