monsterIn honor of LGBT pride month and an attempt to pay homage to the Pulse Victims of Orlando, Jersey City’s own Rico Italy has released his song “Monster”. The song was featured on (HERE ) last week and has found great feedback from his fans. Featuring a sample from Meg & Dia’s ‘Monster How Should I Feel’, the rapper expresses the hardships of being a member of the LGBT community, the everyday struggles of hetero-normality and trying to make his way through the hip-hop community as well.
48NmG6.gifRico has been seen working closely with Chant Magazine and videographer DVVINCI to create the symbolic visual for his new single “Monster”. In the video you can see hatred, jealousy and a glimpse of the fear the average LGBT person experiences amongst peers who disapprove. Watch the video below “Monster” below:
