Vision is a UK rapper born in the South-West of England and raised in Gloucester. Winner of a nationwide competition run by Island Records to find the brightest talent in the country to support Angel Haze on her UK tour, Vision has since spent the past two years writing and creating his own sound.
What has emerged on Vision’s debut release is a fearsome, hypnotic, bass-heavy production layered over tumbling, rhythmic baritone flows. It’s a style that at times resembles a pared-down B.O.B. with his slurry, glitch-drenched style. Vision paints a dark, revenge-filled picture on a fading relationship and the ever-increasing sense of emotional free-fall.
Speaking on the track, Vision states: “It’s about the many levels of emotion – anger, longing and self-ruling when reminiscing about what you once had.”
